Pollon Director, Miriam Grundy, combines critical and instinctive approaches to collecting Aboriginal art, matching the values and idiosyncrasies of the client, collection or space with art and artists of consequence.
Miriam works with a select number of private and institutional clients who engage her for her astute and considered approach to collecting. Miriam’s passion lies in forming and shaping collections that provoke and delight, engaging directly with the dynamism and multifarious contexts of Aboriginal art and artists.
Miriam has been working in the fine art sector for over twelve years, in both America and Australia, across galleries, private brokerage, collection management, fine art appraisals, and museum fundraising and development. Miriam holds degrees in Art History/Theory and Arts Administration from the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales, Sydney. Miriam currently lives on Yugambeh land in South East Queensland with her young family.
